She touched a baby - a real baby!

This is one of those rare occasions when I need to add some words.
Princess-in-Training does not like babies or baby dolls, or anything
that has a baby likeness. The first baby doll we gave her,
she looked at it and threw it in the trash!
However, today she held, fed, and burped a baby!

She was so cute that I had to share it! Thanks Cinderella for taking and sending me
this wonderful
image! I am going to treasure it ;D

Beautiful images...and so poingnant, Debbie. ONe of the mot upsetting things that happened in our first few months home, was when I tried to give Lia a doll baby. She clapped her hands and held out her arms for it, but then when she realized it wasn't a live baby, she threw it on the ground. I still cry to think that it must have reminded her of the little babies at the orphanage...I never even thought about that. She wouldn't go near dolls for the longest time...but now she plays easily with them...although she much prefers the "live" version.

These are just lovely pictures of a significant event in your daughter's life.

Very Sweet pictures. My daughter is the same way. She does not like baby dolls very much. Especially ones with hair. She don't like those at all.

oh wow!!! This is a big step!!!:)
LOVE IT:) SO glad it was captured on film.
And here is a big surprise for you: Ms Affectionate Chloe also despised dolls!;)
I would actually have to worry at Christmas and birthdays her reaction to people because of course they were going to buy her a baby doll. Around 4 something slowly began to change...

How sweet and look how gentle Li Li is being with the baby. She is adorable. That is pretty funny story though about throwing the baby away (lol).
